Top Party Plan Games - Make Sure Your Direct Sales Party Is a Success With Top 10 Party Games
One of the best ways to get your guests at your party to relax is to play a game. It avoids the embarrassment some people feel when meeting others, as everybody is involved and nobody feels left out. As the host of a Party Plan party you will need to judge whether your guests will prefer a mixture of sitting down and more energetic games, or whether they will be more happy remaining seated. It depends on the age and the personality of your party guests.
1. Door Prize. Starting off with a door prize is a great welcome to your party. Give your guest a raffle ticket, or a product brochure with a number on it, and tell them that they may win a prize at the end of the evening. This helps encourage your friends to stay until the end of the evening. You can do the same by putting a number on pens, under chairs or on the reverse of plates - it keeps the fun going. We all enjoy winning, however small the prize!
2. Name that Tune. Play the intros to 10 well known songs and get everybody to guess the song title for 1 point, or to add the artist for 2 points. You could choose different decades of music, depending on your guest's age, or stick to your party plan product as a general theme.
3. Guess the Celebrity. Get everyone to put the name of a well known celebrity on a slip of paper, mix them up and then get everybody to choose one. Each person then has to either answer questions about their celebrity, or act out a clue. The person who guesses any celebrity gets a point.
4. Pass the Balloon Game. Get your guests to pass the balloon to each other, but without using their hands. Make sure you slightly over-inflate the balloon as it makes it more difficult to handle, and if it bursts it causes great merriment!
5. Burst the Balloon Game. Divide your party guests into 2 teams and get them to go in turn to a prepared pile of balloons and attempt to pop a balloon by sitting on it! Then they must return to their team, so the next person can go.
6. Eat the Chocolate Game. This is a fun game where your guests have to put on a hat, scarf and gloves then attempt to eat a wrapped bar of chocolate, using a knife and fork. You can adapt this instead to use chopsticks and sweets - just as hard a task!
7. Treasure Hunt. Hide some small tokens around the room, or garden if you have access to outside. You need to provide clues to their whereabouts - the trick is to make it challenging but not impossible. As well as word clues you could try some picture clues - zoom in for close ups of objects to make it more intriguing.
8. Who am I? This is a good way to get people talking to each other. When your party guests arrive (with their permission) put a sticker on their back on which you have written a famous person's name. Your guests are then encouraged to ask each other questions about their famous personality, until they guess who they are. Tell everybody that the first 3 who guess will receive a prize.
9. Pass the Gift. Start the passing of the wrapped parcel off by playing music, then when the music stops a layer is unwrapped. The note inside will tell them who to pass the parcel to, a description such as ' the person with the longest hair' or whatever you choose. The game continues like this until the last note instructs the person to pass the gift to a less personal description, such as, ' the third person on your left'. This game is a great conversation starter.
10. Scent or Taste Test Game. Prepare around 6 different clues - items that your guests can smell easily, or taste. Blindfold your guests as you offer them the clues, and then get them to write down their answers. Make sure nobody has any food allergies if you are offering foods to taste without them being identified.
A party should be fun, and any of these popular games should help you get your Party Plan party off to a good start. The main thing with a direct sales party is to avoid the hard sell and to make the party experience one your guests will want to repeat. There should be no shortage of friends wanting to host a Party Plan party for you.
